Life is a long process of growth and change. So often we strive towards a specific goal on a path we thought looked easy but find it really isn't. The Hard Truth

Obesity is now an epidemic - people are less active, sick with preventable diseases - it is literally killing us. In the real world, navigating the barrage of advertisements, fad diets, and engrossing articles promise to move us towards a healthy lifestyle, but only serve to leave people confused and frustrated.

When it comes to healthy lifestyle:

  • What you hear on television or read in a magazine is likely driven by marketing and, at the end of the day, the almighty dollar. Their priority is on getting you to buy - they are not concerned whether or not the product will improve your health.

  • there is no magic wand, protein shake, or exercise device that will solve your problem

  • one solution does not fit all - what works for one person will likely not work for the next

  • many "solutions" can harm your health (some in irreparable ways)

  • overuse of medications to combat preventable diseases or for quick weight loss are dangerous options


The Dream

I think everyone can agree that adopting a healthy lifestyle will not turn us all into supermodels!  What it does do goes way deeper than that....

  • The feeling of achieving a healthy weight for your body type allows you to participate fully in your life.

  • It gives you energy to get through your day, and better quality sleep at night.

  • You find joy in your ability to move freely - your body more efficient and powerful.

  • You approach your daily life with a multitude of choices and mindful awareness.

  • The older you get, the more youthful you feel, as you are now able to enjoy activities you thought you’d never do again.. 

  • You have confidence, now that you are fully in control of your weight, health, time ..... and life!

As your health coach, it is my job to find out who you really are....

  • what has happened in the past to keep you from meeting these goals

  • what you enjoy and what you dislike

  • what works for you and what does not

....and then formulate a plan to help you on your way!

I will be your guide, cheerleader, sounding board, accountability partner, strategist, friend...

I will provide customized tools that respect who you are - simple solutions that will make your journey successful for now as well as the long term!
